Where Stacked Scheduler is used by an agency, freelancer or business to manage social media content for their own clients, that agency, freelancer or business may also act as the data controller for the client data, social media accounts, content and approval information they upload or manage through the tool.

Stacked Scheduler does not post to connected social media accounts unless a user has created, scheduled, approved or authorised that action through the tool.

6. Social media platform permissions

Stacked Scheduler may request permissions from third-party platforms so it can connect accounts and publish content.

Facebook and Instagram

If you connect Facebook or Instagram, Stacked Scheduler may use approved Meta permissions to:

  • Identify Instagram Business accounts connected to Facebook Pages
  • Connect the correct Page or Instagram Business account
  • Publish scheduled content to Facebook Pages
  • Publish scheduled content to Instagram Business accounts

Stacked Scheduler does not use Facebook or Instagram permissions to access private messages, personal friend lists or unrelated personal data.

LinkedIn

If you connect LinkedIn, Stacked Scheduler may use approved LinkedIn permissions to:

  • Connect LinkedIn business pages or organisation pages
  • Publish scheduled content to authorised LinkedIn pages
  • Confirm publishing status
  • Handle publishing errors

Stacked Scheduler does not publish to LinkedIn personal profiles unless this is explicitly supported by LinkedIn, enabled in the product and authorised by the user.

TikTok

If TikTok publishing is enabled, Stacked Scheduler may use approved TikTok permissions to:

  • Connect authorised TikTok accounts
  • Prepare content for publishing
  • Publish or support publishing actions, where available
  • Confirm publishing status
  • Handle publishing errors

7. Access tokens and connected account data

To publish content to social media platforms, Stacked Scheduler may need to store access tokens, refresh tokens or similar authorisation credentials.

These tokens allow the tool to perform actions that the user has authorised, such as publishing scheduled posts to connected social media pages or accounts.

We use these tokens only to provide the features requested by the user.

Users can revoke access at any time through the relevant platform settings or by contacting [email protected].

Revoking access may prevent Stacked Scheduler from publishing scheduled posts or managing connected accounts.

Where UK GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases:

Users can also revoke Stacked Scheduler's access to connected social media accounts directly through the relevant platform settings.

Revoking access may stop scheduled posts from publishing.
